Sandra Morris McKee

Sandra Morris McKee of Ashland, MO joined her loved ones in heaven Sunday, October 19, 2025. She was 82 years old.

Sandy was born in Jefferson City December 10, 1942, to Ruby Cain and Bud Robinson. She was raised by her father Earl Cardwell and mother Ruby. She was an only child and had a special bond with her Grandma Ada and Grandpa Dave.

Sandy met and married her husband Jimmy McKee at the age of 16. Through her marriage she inherited the many sisters and brother that she had always longed for. Sandy and Jimmy have 4 boys Jay (Gina) of Greentop, Kevin (Debra) of Hartsburg, Danny (Pam) of Hartsburg and Ricky (Jennifer) of Ashland. She adored her 10 grandchildren Jamie, Kristin, Jesse, Tabitha, Colby, Tanner, Brian, Marina, Jakob and Rylie, and her many great grandchildren.

Sandy worked and retired from Chesebrough-Pond’s/ Unilever in Jefferson City after more than 25 years. She moved to Ashland from Hartsburg after her husband’s passing and left the country life to join the big city. Sandy loved the St. Louis Cardinals, Nascar races and old western movies. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren and the many dogs she called her own.

Memorial services honoring Sandra’s life will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 27, 2025, at Robinson-Yager Funeral Home in Ashland with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Central Missouri Humane Society.
