Marvin Lee Boyce, 71, of Ashland, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

A proud veteran, Marvin volunteered for the United States Army in 1971, serving his country with honor. He later became a respected local business owner and heavy equipment operator at Columbia Curb and Gutter "C.C.G Inc.," the family business. Following an early retirement due to an injury, Marvin remained a vibrant part of his community, engaging in spirited discussions about politics and local government with friends at the local coffee club. He found joy in following the stock market and was a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Marvin was deeply honored to be selected for the Mid Missouri Honor Flight, where he visited the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C., an experience that held great meaning for him.
