Carolyn Elizabeth Coleman

Carolyn E. Coleman, 85, of Jefferson City passed away October 26, 2023, at Boone Hospital.

Mrs. Coleman was born June 18, 1938, a daughter of Elmer and Agnes Brautigam Goetting in Norborne, MO.  She married Ralph Coleman on August 15, 1961, in Columbia.  Carolyn taught Home Economics in the Waynesville, Rolla and Crocker High Schools.  She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Jefferson City.  

Survivors include her sons, Royce (Pam) Coleman of Fenton and Colby (Kara) Coleman of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Emma, Laura, Noah and Luke and a sister, Marilyn Kelly of Overland Park, KS.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Ralph Goetting and a sister, Rosalyn Sapp.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Faith Lutheran Church in Jefferson City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Faith Lutheran Church in care of the family.
